What is a watershed?
A watershed is the land that discharges surface and groundwater to a stream. It is also sometimes referred to as a stream's drainage area.

Where is the Upper Scioto River watershed?

The upper Scioto River watershed is located in central Ohio with headwaters beginning in Hardin County, and continuing to flow through Marion, Delaware, and Franklin counties, where it is joined by the Olentangy River. The upper Scioto River watershed covers 6,510 acres.
